Hi Billy I am using the new build 3.168 deleted media Companion on c drive and started with a fresh new copy. Always wondered, is it possible to have the HTML file show more than just the title? I mean the link to IMdb is great, but could you have it say show the poster and the brief outline/summary for the movie also? i was just thinking it would be great to be able to use this fle as a way of telling friends and family what movies i have so they can borrow. And, this is probably going too far, but is there a way to have it maybe split by genre or day added etc? Anyway just an idea ...

I been playing with the idea of a poster wall view, see below, before I go any further I was just wondering what peoples thoughts were on this, is it something that people would like to see? I was having a problem with the scraper using an older version of MC (I'm assuming this was due to the IMDB issue). I upgraded to 3.154, and now MC won't find my movies. I'm sure I have something set incorrectly. But, I can't figure out what. It doesn't seem to be finding my .vob files. I was using 3.148 and scraping just mysteriously stopped working. I downloaded 3.154, same thing. I moved one movie to a temp folder, deleted it's .nfo and .tbn file and set that as my only folder in MC - still won't work. Older ver. 3.087 The came after the title (Movie, The) New ver. 3.094 The comes before the title (The Movie) Did you change this on purpose? I only ask because I did a rescrape in the Older versions to get all the (the) after the movie title now if I do a rescrape they will all change back to (the) in front of the movie. I noticed it wasn't scraping TV shows anymore (I've read the 'What's Happening' post) so I thought I'd install a new version to see. All of a sudden media Companion is not scrapping any movies any more. I have changed the location of my media, no difference, I have update to the latstest Media companion and also no difference? Ok I have whipped up this program over the last week or so & I thought some others may want to use it. How it works... You select YES or NO to if you want to rename or not. Basically if you say NO it goes thru the whole process but doesn't rename anything. You select a Folder The program searches for nfo files. Hi !

Nice new version of the soft.
I have a strange issue in my settings.
I checked the box corresponding to the option "don't overwrite existing thumbnails and fanart" the settings do not memorise it.
Maybe there's a "save" button missing somewhere?
Other strange thing, I use MediaPlayerClassic instead of WMP but I can't tell MC the path of my player.

I use this Tools with YAMJ on the Popcornhour. YAMJ downloads automaticly trailers from Apple.com. I won't scan this file with MC. Can I configure this? If not, can I download trailer with MC to use with YAMJ? 1080p?

Your program is the best in this class! Believe me, I know! I've tried everything I could find on the web for the past two years. I gave up looking so I even designed my own program butchering code from Autohotkey. Suggestions: I would like to see more functionality in the TV mode, as you have in the Movie mode. You tout this app as a 'companion' to XBMC but it isn't. It doesn't work in the same way or even sympathetically.

Therefor it's not a companion but a completely stand alone app that needs to be manhandled in order to get what you need.

Why are you making us jump through hoops in order to use your app with XMBC?

Just wanted to say thanks for this wonderful program; once our video library started reaching 300+ movies its became a pain anytime we needed to update xbmc (copy the UserData libary, etc) -- very time consuming to keep the movie details. This program is Perfect; all xbox's read the same movie details.
