3.168 MC Switches Briefly to TV Shows & back to Movies on Startup.

Is this just happening to me? On initial startup its quite noticeable, but on a restart its barely noticeable....perhaps on a faster machine its not noticeable at all?

Sort by rating raises exception. I haven't got the details now, if not easily reproducable I'll post details when at home.

Got exceptions for other things as well, will take more note of what is occuring and report these also (as no one else appears to have reported these).

Media info bug

3.168 - Search New Episodes

Billy - I noticed a small issue with the context menu showing 'Search "tvshow" for new episodes': If you right click a season (to say rename or something) and then immediately right click the top level show - the option to search for new episodes is not there. I need to click off that current TV Show and then the menu item shows up again.

After you rescrape a movie beginning with "The", it is put back in the list with "The" at the front again....

A rebuild movies fixes the issue however....

MC 3.168: TBN (Posters) File Naming Changed

Hi,

Previous MC versions created "The Game Plan Part 1.nfo" and "The Game Plan Part 1.tbn" for "The Game Plan Part 1.avi", now while the ".nfo" is the same the existing ".tbn" is not found and if you create one it uses "The Game Plan.tbn" instead.

It says " The length cant be less than zero" Parametername: length.

3.168 - "Duplicates" and "Problem"

Thanks for a great update, just a couple of things I have noticed;

If I select the "Duplicate" filter it does not show up any duplicates, I know I have several.

Also selecting "Problem", lists all the movies and as far as I am aware there should be none unless it is looking at something new in the .nfo.

3.168 Genre Filter

Not sure if this is a bug or request. But when additional genres are added you get the scrollbar which is all good. But when you move the bar that splits the "movie search" and "movie info" the genre filter does not increase in size. It stays the same size with the scroll bar. It would be good if the box that contains the genre filter increased in size just like the movie list and search boxes do. TV Show DVD Backup Hanging up Scraper

Hi - I've got a bunch of TV Shows that I've ripped from DVD and renamed according to XBMC's naming convention, like this:
Curb Your Enthusiasm 1x07.1x08.1x09.1x10.1x11.1x12.iso

The scraper moves through my TV shows and then hangs up when it reaches one of these multi-episode files. Is this a known issue?

3.154 not scraping Audio from VIDEO_TS rips

Hi,

Found a small issue in that no Audio info is scraped from any DVD/VIDEO_TS folders .IFO containers.

Have tried with Ember MM, it uses the same version of MediaInfo.dll and that pulls the Audio info correctly. All other file types seem fine, just .IFO containers.

Punctuations not showing up properly

Mostly apostrophies will not show up properly in title names, plot, and outline.

With "movies without fanart" selected, when i edit something and press quicksave the displayed movie list reverts back to a complete list rather then staying on "movies without fanart"

IMDb Scraper Error!

Seems to be another issue or change at IMDb I am consistently getting "scrapper error" text in Studio, Genre, Outline, Plot, Tagline and in some cases for Runtime the other fields seem to scrape ok. Cannot say when it started but I think I scrapped last night so it was sometime in the last 24hrs.

i ended up filling up my hard drive when using media companion, i was scraping tv shows and when my dive filled up it stoped looking for new files but it also left an incomplete nfo that cousd xbmc to crash every time i did a scan for content.

The movie "Eddie Izzard: Unrepeatable" gives a "scrape error" in Genre field. All other fields are ok. I should note that studio, cert, outline, plot, and tagline fields are all empty, which I assume is because those fields do not exist on the IMDB page.

this may not be a bug maybe I am not understanding the logic behind it. I just upgaded to .3.148 and noticed when i list the movies with date added they seems to be some movies listed first that are not or were not there before on xbmc xbox it uses the date modified to sort by date. so on the xbox the movies added last to the system show up at top of list when selecting by date on the xbox. I noticed at the moment that the "," is being removed from renamed files, however it is a valid filename character.

Also perhaps a minor issue....

If an episode name is "S.O.S.", the resultant filename becomes "S.O.S..avi" - I know its technically correct, but perhaps removal of a period from the name before the extension is added might be in order?

Just noticed I have a few new episodes with .flv extension - they play fine in XBMC, but MC doesn't see then as an episode to add. Changing the extension to .avi allows the scraped however.

Also .flv doesn't seem to be handled by the renaming function either... but that could be as a result of me changing the extention so MC would scraped, changing it back to .flv & trying to rename...

Connection Problems

If i select "Edit Movie" and "Change Movie" to select manually the movie at IMDB, i get a "no connection" frame. And the nomal scraper have the same problem i think, cause i got no results. Any ideas?

Season posters are always Poster even when Banner is selected v3.135

(Not sure if this is by design or not)

I'm running with banners in XBMC rather than posters. When I do a "Scrape show with Selected Options" when "Art style" set to "banner" and "Check this if you want to overwrite existing image files" MC always shows a poster when I drill down in the TV Shows "Main Browser" area.

Perhaps there is no Season posters in banner format and it defaults to Poster?

When you are in "TV Shows" I've found if you Select a TV Show in "Main Browser" then go to "Posters" then go back to "Main Browser" and select another show and go back to "Posters" then it shows the title and posters from the first show not the second.

(hope you guys prefer each bug report in a new post or else I'm in big trouble )

The new "season-all.tbn" and the older "Check this if you want to overwrite existing image files" options do not seem to be saved into the settings and revert to the defaults when you restart MC.
