PostSubject: a coupel bugs   a coupel bugs Icon_minitimeFri Mar 26, 2010 5:44 am

Thank you for your time and achievement with this program

1) First, The text is certain areas is cutoff or writes over other text. (see image). I tried changing my resolution (1600x1200) with no success

2) When I sort movies by Rating I get an error (see image)

3) Is it possible to add a folder.jpg file to movies that have already been scraped and have an nfo file?

Thank You

TMP

I meant to post this under bug discussion... It was a second try at the same post and I must not have paid attention to the group the second time

G'day TheMadPersian & welcome!

Can you check your Display Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> DPI setting

By default it should be 96dpi if it is higher then the text will be larger & perhaps causing the overlaps.

I have read that some Windows 7 installs are setting 120dpi as default......Billy is there an easy way for you to read the currently dpi setting & auto adjust the screen font sizes to compensate? I'm also not sure how other programs handle this issue....

Cheers

Well that worked... I am on Windows 7 and it was at 120 dpi..

Changing everything to 96 dpi, a default option in windows 7, made my resolution to small to read. So I had to adjust it.

I'd prefer to be able to keep it at 120 and the program auto-adjust. But no big deal

But the problem is solved if I stay at 96dpi.

One down 2 to go... ;-)

Thank You

For some reason the cache is not being updated properly at some point, but I have no idea what is causing the data to be lost, noone has reported the situation that gives rise to the issue.

To get rid of the exception perform a movie rebuild using the movie drop down menu.

As for the folder.jpg, just create a batch prog that copies all the .tbn files to folder.jpg

Will try the movie rebuild, thank you.

As for a prog to rename tbn to folder jpg.. I will look into it. Thanks for the help.

I'll keep you updated

So I tried Rebuild Movies, Rebuild movie cache, and rebuild movie nfos.. And I get the same error.

Any Ideas. Or anything I can do to help you figure it out.

All of the other sorting options work.

Now it gets weird.

If I click invert order first on runtime lets say.... Then I go from Runtime to Rating (inverted), The ratings show up.. I still get an error.(See image)

The text from the details part of the error reads as follows:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
