ampersands not escaped for status bar

When the status bar shows "Searching for episodes in <drive>\path\to\show\folder\" during a new episode search and scrape ampersands are not visible (e.g. Law & Order is shown as Law__Order, where __ is two spaces.)

I have also seen it in the popup over the movie and tv list, but can't currently replicate it. I saw it, was doing something else and noted to come back to, but then forgot the show or the movie... ie. works properly for Mr & Mr Smith, Withnail & I...
