a few newbie questions

I have uploaded a lot of fan art but I can't find SOME of them through MC.

Corridor of Mirrors for example is here

another is Dirty Mary Crazy Larry

but I can't for the life of me get MC to find the fan art (unless I manually enter it, which I did)

Also, a nice feature I like at the movie data base is the actor thumbnails. Any chance I could opt to use theirs instead of IMDB as default?

I think it takes a while for things that happen behind scenes and update stuff,at the sites you uploadedto. I think you will find i should work 24hrs later

As Payback says, it takes a little while between upload and availability to applications.

MC uses the TMDB API to access the DB, and this is not updated immediately on uploading something.
just tested both of those movies and the fanart is avalable now.

Regarding the actor thumbnails,
I am going to be concentrating on TV Shows for a while, but I have plans to write a scraper library that uses the TMDB API to access any chosen field.

The two movies I mention have had art uploaded for months now and the XBMC scraper finds the art, but Media Companion does not.

My apologies,

It seems that MC can scrape these posters automatically, but cannot find them using the browser.

The cause is that these images are not jpg, but png.

Fixed for the next build.
