| I think this is because of IMDB's recent layout change and maybe something on their backend is different now, but Movie Companion only scrapes the posters of new movies now and doesn't pull the Plot, Outline, Genre, Cert, Studio or Tagline. Posters are still pulled fine and so are the Cast. |

| I'm having the same problem with 10 different movies that I added today. I have already applied the dll supplied, and that fixed the TV shows, but not the movies. |

| TV shows always worked fine for me. I just updated the missing information in XBMC, but would like to get this fixed in Media Companion.

| Strange, I used that to correct my TV scrapes. I only need an update like it for the movies. |

Fair play, my fault, should have said that it does not correct the issue with movies. I had not tried TV Shows. |

| I'll have a look at the new layout over the weekend and try to make a fix available.
Looks like there may be one or two things to overcome, the outline for example seems to have abandoned an identifying tag, seems i'm in for a busy weekend. |

| There is a new version ofMedia Companion out. It has an updated dll for imdb. That is working great. |

| For some reason it's still not scraping all the info for some movies. For example "Lost Boys - The Thirst", "Four Boxes (2009)", and "Space Chimps 2 - Zartog Strikes Back" don't scrape the Outline or Plot. Other movies such as "Night of the Comet" will scrap the info just find.
It also still doesn't scrape the runtime the first time around about 10% of the time. Right clicking and telling it to rescrape the runtime normally fixes it. |

Make sure you have the latest version of Media Companion. Since I upgraded, I have not seen a problem with TV shows or Movies. |

| I had put that I was using ver 3.400 in the post title. I should have put it in the Message body.
A lot of the movies scrape just fine, but for some reason some of them don't. I just tried it again with "Lost Boys: The Thirst (2010)". When you click on change movie you can see the summary, but when you have it rescrape it doesn't put the anything in the plot or outline box.
Disregard the Space Chimps one I mentioned. There's nothing on IMDB for the second movie. |
