v1.994 doesn't find all tv episodes in one scape

Today I noticed the following.

I added 3 seasons off Andromeda. But to scrape it, i had to start the "Scan folders for new..." 3 times. Every time, only one season would be found?

BTW: Didn't say this for a while, but still a great program :-)

Now the TV series "Scan for new..." stops with:

Found For TV Show :- My Name Is Earl, Episode :-I:\My Name is Earl\Season 2\My Name is Earl S02E01.repack.hdtv.xvid-xor.nfo
Season :- 2
Episode :- 1
URL For Episode :- http://thetvdb.com/api/6E82FED600783400/series/75397/default/2/1/en.xml
TVDB API Returned Valid XML

and no nfo file is created. If I remove this file, the scraper stops at the next episode

For me, it does not detect any TV episode. _Takes some time, shows a mostly empty log and that is all.

PRevious version (1.988) gives lots of errors but detects the shows. Except the ones it never detects, of course, like "brothers and sisters"... really weird behaviour.

It is great when it works, though.

Hey, billy, maybe you can make (at least for these debug versions) the program generate a log of what it is actually doing (not what it *thinks* is doing), something way more detailed and with satisfied regexes, urls, etc., so we can better help you debug it.

you might be needing to look for "Brothers & Sisters" instead of "Brothers and Sisters". i had that issue for some time.

i've went through the code and fixed what I think may be the causes. I've not been able to reproduce some of these problems so I will include a more detailed log next.

I did notice that the tvscraper would only find media with the extension in lower case, don't know if that has been the issue for some.

I'll upload another version later on today.

That was the problem!

I deleted the tvshow.nfo, searched for "Brothers & Sisters", selected "Brothers & Sisters" and everything went perfect!

Checked and all the extension are in lower case. So that's not it in my case.

I had already deleted the tvshow.nfo file and all other nfo files in the My Name is Earl folder, doesn't work.

My naming is:
Drive:\My Name is Earl\Season 1\My Name Is Earl S01E01.repack.dvd.screener.xvid-ocd.avi
Drive:\My Name is Earl\Season 1\My Name Is Earl S01E02.HDTV.XviD.PROPER-CRiMSON.avi
Drive:\My Name is Earl\Season 2\...

If I remove episode 1 it stops at episode 2 (but geive the correct xml url, doesn;t make nfo file)

If I remove the Season 1 folder, it stops at:
Found For TV Show :- My Name Is Earl, Episode :-I:\My Name is Earl\Season 2\My Name is Earl S02E01.repack.hdtv.xvid-xor.nfo
Season :- 2
Episode :- 1

I suddenly noticed:
When I remove all above folders from the TV series scraping process (limit the amount of tv series folders to scrape) it works again.

Still only 1 season per scrape.

So it is or a memory problem? Maybe a number of arrays?

I assume you mean the other log window that comes up?

Ah ... nothing re the episode at all. Just the stuff I assume at the beginning re language & the like.

P.S. Have gone back to using 1.818 & it scrapes fine.

Could i ask what whether you get your actors from IMDB or TVDB, if it is IMDB then does the tvshow.nfo file contain <id> tags containing the IMDB ID.
