PostSubject: TV Show Seasons - nfo files not created properly   Wed Jan 07, 2009 10:16 pm

This problem only appeared when I updated to the 2.085 release from the last 1.xxx release.

This happens when a new set of TV shows is added and then you scan for new content. With some (but not all ) seasons the .nfo files are created with the correct file names, but the content is identical to that created for the 1st episode of the season. For example xxxtvshow S04E05 has content which says it is S04E01, but it correctly calls the file XXXtvshow S04E05.nfo

Please let me know what additional you need to identify the problem.

Figured out what is happening. The correct Episode information is being stored in the nfo file. However, the Episode 1 information is also being stored in the file, at the beginning of the file. So this is happening for Episodes 2 to 20 e.g. I'm pretty sure this is a bug.

This happens with a few different TV shows. Here is an example nfo file for Star Trek Voyager - I have truncated the plot, but not changed anything else. The file name is "Star Trek Voyager S06E07 Dragons Teeth.avi" and the nfo has the same name.
