PostSubject: 1080p thumbnails?   Thu Mar 26, 2009 2:58 am

Is there a way to force Media Companion to scrape only thumbnails that are 1080px in the vertical?
I'd like to have my media prepped for when Aeon Stark is released and that is a tip djh posted:

Not really, I made a feature request to TMDb a while back to include image size details for fanart within the API, this would allow people to only download fanart in given resolutions. The same could also be done for Posters. Unfortunately my request was declined.

At present the only way to know an images resoulution is to download it. It would be an abuse of TMDb servers, especially when scraping large quantities of movies to keep downloading images until a HD one is found, especially since most users will change the selected thumb anyway.

Argh.. Thanks for the quick reply! Any suggestions on how I could put in another request for this? Would they reconsider if it is requested by more people?
