A huge thanks for all the hard work on fixing media tags and removing the empty media tags from movie .nfo's if they aren't scraped. It's much appreciated.

I just noticed though that empty media tags are still included in TV episode .nfo's. Is there any way these can get the same treatment as the movies and be removed completely if media tag info isn't set to be scraped? ( I looked through the preferences and didn't even see an option for TV media tags, so obviously this would needed to be added first... )

Thanks!

The tv show tags will be fixed for the next build

I'm still seeing empty media tags for TV episodes in v3.175. I know you've been sick lately ( and are hopefully feeling better! ), but I wanted to make sure this isn't forgotten. Once these empty tags are removed I think I can finally stop using the old v2.292 for my TV shows Smile

My apologies, I had forgot about this.

I will do it for the next build.

Awesome. Thank you very much for making this change! After trying v3.182 all the blank media tags for TV episodes are gone, except for this:

Code:
<fileinfo>
    <streamdetails>
      <video />
    </streamdetails>
</fileinfo>

I wasn't sure if this was intentional or not, but since it doesn't appear in any movie .nfo's I assume not, so I wanted to bring it to your attention.

I found 2 bugs in de Media Tags:

1: <codec>DX50</codec>. This Should be <codec>DIVX</codec>
XBMC doesn't recognize DX50 as a DivX 5 codec.

2: <codec>AC-3</codec>. This should be <codec>AC3</codec>
XBMC doesn't recognize AC-3 however it does recognize AC3 as Dolby Digital.
