Greetings. Just a few minutes ago, I just setup XBMC with the Aeon skin. Everything is working fine by selecting movies from the Video selection of Aeon.

My current physical setup looks like below:

HDTV <-- XBMC Laptop <-- Desktop Machine (sharing Media folder)

I've currently figured out how to make XBMC find a SMB shared folder on the Desktop and the Laptop is currently using it. I've dumped all my movies into a single folder. Both machines are running Windows 7.

I was looking for a way to Aeon use the Movies selection but doesn't work. However, I did learn about Media Companion which is a great tool!

So, my question to the kind experts, how does one make Aeon use the Movies and TV Shows option? Aeon keeps telling me to add it to the Library. Does this mean I have to create another shared folder called Movies & TV Shows and share them as well?

I'm stomped at this point. Thank you very much for replying! If you have any "Aeon Skin for Dummies" weblinks, I would appreciate that as well.

The idea of MC is so at you can manage all your movies and Tv shows and easily scrape edit and modify there .nfos, fanart etc. and not rely on the built in xbmc scrapers.

So i would recommend that you scrape all you shows and movies using MC, to get all info correct first.

Then Look at this page in the XBMC wikipedia as to how to add sources to xbmc.

Hope that helps
