XBMC and MC HELP????

Hey guys,
I have just installed XBMC and I need clean up my database. I have some movies that are showing incorrect posters and No Fanart.
Was under the impression that this software would allow me to add the folders that all of my movies are in and edit them all in one place and then send that info to XBMC.

Is this possible?

I have got all my movies in Media Companion and cleaned them up... But I have no clue how to now get that info over to XBMC???

Hi Whit,

XBMC don't update this automatically.

If you only have some movies that you witch to update the easies way is to open the movie info page and do a update on that movie. but if you want to update allot of movies you have to erase your database and rescrape them all.

So I am getting the feeling that there is no way of editing the Database in XBMC to easy to show my Own Posters and Fanart that I choice.

It was nice in Media Browser I could use MetaBrowser and it would have all of my Movies in it... I could go thru it make the changes and all of the changes that I made would be saved in a Meta file for each movie and the changes showed up in Media Browser.

So what is the purpose of Media Companion if all of the things I change in it... Don't show up in XBMC?

The easies way to update your movies is to set the content on your movie folder to contain nothing and then XBMC will ask you if you want to erase the content from the library and you say that you want that, after this is done you simply set the content back to movies and scan the folder again either with automatic scanning from content settings or scan for new content in that folder or just from library med update library.

I scan my new movies with media companion then fix the poster fanart and other things that i want to fix and the add i will do a library update and they will get added to XBMC as i want them to be
