v3.217 Actor Thumbs and Save files as "movie.nfo" Bug

Thanks for the nice update, I really like the new layout. I noticed that in the advanced preferences for movies, I can't get the "Enable Save Actor Thumbs" to stay enabled. After I click save, and change to the Main Browser or another tab and then go back to Advanced Preferences, the setting is unchecked again and the paths are gone.

I also can't enable the "Save files as movie.nfo..." option. It is grayed out for me.

There are a couple of preferences not being saved....

During Autoscrape, Download Fanart for Movies

& the Enable Actor Thumbs

There may be others too....


....PS if I leave the page without saving, it comes up with a message that I appear to have changed the preferences....if I say yes here the preferences are saved.....

The easiest way right now is to change this in the config file manualy

Fixed the issue with the fanart and actorsave settings not being saved, the movie.nfo checkbox is also now enabled, I will upload a fixed build later today.

I'm not sure what your point is, if you dont save then the changes will be lost, since previous builds did not need saving, I thought it would be a good idea to prompt the user if they tried to exit the tab without saving.

What I found Billy was if I clicked away from the preferences page say from movies to TV, MC would ask something like "you appear to have changed the preferences do you want to save". All I was saying was if I said yes to the save the preferences they where saved at least temporarily, (you could switch to & from movie & TV shows & they would stick in other words) , if on the other hand I had chosen save at the bottom they would never stick.

Unfortunately further navigation around MC & returning to the preferences showed that using either method didn't in fact save the preferences permanently. I only mentioned the different behavior since I know it can help with the diagnosis of issues sometimes.
