| I don't use XBMC but I'm using Media Companion to catalog rips of my DVDs which will eventually land on a UPNP/DLNA media server in my basement. I wanted to give meaningful names to my movie files & directories using the data from the .nfo files built by MC, so over the last couple of nights in my spare time I've thrown together a vbscript to do this in bulk - it scans a folder structure for .nfo files and renames the relevant files based on a user-specified pattern. It's not fancy but it did what I needed it to do; figured I'd share it here for anyone else who might benefit from it. http://www.drl2.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/nfonamer.zip | |
