Hi

Installed latest version (1.994). Scanned TV shows for new episode. I knew there was one episode of Family Guy for it to find (labeled F:\TV\TV Part2\Family Guy\Series 7\Family.Guy.S07E04.PDTV.XviD-2HD.avi). It was not found. Reverted to 1.988 show found OK.

OK I downloaded 1.995 to see if there was any improvement. It still finds no new episodes. Reverting back to 1.988 is the only way to get new episodes recognised. Movie side is OK on the new releases but TV is broken from 1.988 onwards.

Could i ask what whether you get your actors from IMDB or TVDB, if it is IMDB then does the tvshow.nfo file contain <id> tags containing the IMDB ID.

I have the default set to everything from TVDB.

Here is the tvshow.nfo of one example where 1.995 failed to find the new episode but 1.988 worked just fine.

<tvshow>
<title>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</title>
<rating>8.2</rating>
<season>-1</season>
<episode>0</episode>
<displayseason>-1</displayseason>
<displayepisode>-1</displayepisode>
<plot>CSI is an innovative, new type of crime drama in which the characters use cutting-edge forensic tools to examine the evidence to solve the case. Rather than a 'whodunnit' cop show (investigating witnesses/suspects), CSI explores the 'howdunnit'. CSI has been the number one scripted series in the Neilsen ratings for three years running. CSI is now in its seventh amazing season.</plot>

Could you please try the new version 1.996, it has a link in the announcements forum,

If the problem still exists then could you send me links to the tvdebug log and the tvscraper log, use pastebin, the debug log is a bit big to post in a normal thread.

Hi

Whatever you did fixed it. I had 4 new episodes for it to find today and the new version located them all without fail. Do you still wish to see the logs?

Many thanks for a great program.
