| Recently when I try to scrape Poster art from TMDB or Fan Art, the program times out and becomes unresponsive.
This is new, recently happening within the last month.
Anyone else experiencing this problem or have any solutions?
Thanks. | |

| I'm using the latest version and having the same problem. I scraped about 700 movies in for the first time. Scrapes were taking several minutes for each movie. The first scrapes to a USB drive were much faster. The last 300 were to a NAS and took several hours to complete. I can't tell why it would take so long unless there is a bug. | |

| I am running Media Companion through remote desktop on a dedicated machine. All files are local to the machine, and Media Companion is the only extra thing running. MC is using about 250M of ram, 0-2% cpu and only 0-1% of the network capacity. It has scraped about 20 movies an hour, at about 50% accuracy. on almost every mis-scrapped movie, when using "change movie" the correct movie is the top choice. What can I do to speed this up or have MC better utilize the computing and network resources at it's disposal? | |

| The speed issue is not related to MC itself. For each Movie MC has to do a web search to find the movie match. From memory the first 50 in a queue will use Google Search of imdb because that is faster, however after 50 Google will temporarily ban you, so MC then reverts to searching via the actual IMDB site which is much slower. In addition for each movie it has to download several web pages to obtain all of the information required since the information is not all on the front page of a particular movie. Now re the fanart not loading, I did add about 10 movies last night & 50% had no fanart displayed. On selecting the fanart tab the fanart was visible & downloadable. There is an open issue re this already on the mediacompanion.codeplex site http://mediacompanion.codeplex.com/workitem/2Re the movie title not matching on the first attempt, do you have an example of the movie in question? Also the movie filename & if your using folders to identify the movie what name did you use for that. Cheers | |

| This is very good information and explains the very, very slow scraping when scraping hundreds of movies at a time. Still seems hard to believe that it takes so many hours but at least there is an explanation.
I am still having a problem getting the correct runtime to show and many movies. The runtime is showing on several movies at less than an hour. That's the only way I know the runtime is incorrect. Even if I recrape, the time remains the same. I then have to look up the runtime on IMDB and manually change the time in media companion. I'm scraping using TMDB because when I scraped using IMDB as the default, about 20% of movies were not being found but were there when I rescraped the same movie. Any reason why runtime comes up way off for about 10% of movies? | |

| The following are file names that scrape nothing, that turn up the correct listing at the top of their search when manually selecting what movie it is: Movies\Sense and Sensibility (1995)\Sense and Sensibility (1995).avi http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114388/Movies\Wild Wild West (1999)\Wild Wild West.avi http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120891/Movies\Serenity (2005)\Serenity (2005).avi http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379786/I received about 10% like this, this time. I think the best solution is to allow for a change movie que, where you can select all your corrections, and then have it scrape while you are away. | |

| This is actually a great gown that is appropriate for most entire body types. the way the gown is produced gives the impression of height and is decent for that bride who wishes to look taller. The minimize also aids to produce the bride look slimmer which is actually a bonus. The style means that there is actually a full skirt and also the entire gown is very versatile. It accentuates the very best bits of your entire body and hides the others! You can choose A Line Wedding Dresses, A Line Wedding Dresses, A Line Wedding Dresses from GoodGoodsChina.com. | |
