xbmc Media Companion is a very nice little program, tyvm!
Recent builds of YAMJ (Yet Another Movie Jukebox) that runs on the Network Media Tank platform (aka Popcorn Hour) have adopted the XBMC nfo file format. They are trying out the movie and tv show nfo / xml format to see how it will work as the meta data format for their open source YAMJ project.
I've been testing their first build with xbmc nfo support and it's surprisingly solid and full featured for a first build. YAMJ in general is a really nice program, very well thought out.
The Video Jukebox forum for the NMTs can be found here:
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=34Am wondering if the dev of Media Companion is open to adding features that would work with both xbmc and YAMJ ?
The Popcorn Hour / NMTs supports some formats / containers that xbmc does not (yet).
Great little program you have written here - tyvm!
