Hi

Pressing [Play Movie] starts up Window Media Player although its not the associated program ("VLC" is).

Not a biggy as I just won't use the button but it would be better if fixed...

Bye,
Dennis

in version 2.008, there's a config option to choose which player to use. make sure you have vlc associated with .m3u files (playlist files).

Weird requirement as I wasn't playing .m3u files but works.

Thanks,
Dennis

billy set it up that way in case you have multiple part movies. it's the only way to get a media player to play a cd1 and cd2 in order.

There are 3 options for playing back media,

Option 1
Use Default Player - Opens created M3U in default player for M3U playlist

Option 2
Windows Media Player - Opens Created M3U with Windows media player. This should be irregardless of M3u associations

Option 3
Different Player - Select any player you wish. This should be irregardless of M3u associations. (I am using "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" without issue)

as has been said M3U files are used as a universal playlist format so all external Media Players can play multi file media.
