Allow free form folder paths in "Add new folder"

Any chance you could change add the ability to manually add a folder path in the Preferences -> Folders section?

My 'browseable' paths are read-only to prevent family mishap while I have hidden paths to get to my movie repository. Because your 'Browse for folder' dialog doesn't allow any manual entry I cannot get to the appropriates shares to allow MC write access without manually adding them into the config.xml

i think this is a good idea, and i'd like to request for drag-n-drop support as well.

Just edit config.xml to add manually. Works fine for me.
