You tout this app as a 'companion' to XBMC but it isn't. It doesn't work in the same way or even sympathetically.

Therefor it's not a companion but a completely stand alone app that needs to be manhandled in order to get what you need.

Why are you making us jump through hoops in order to use your app with XMBC?

Discuss...

By the way thanks for all you efforts...it's nearly there....

No one is forcing you to do anything. This software is free.

Not sure what you mean by jump through hoops.

Adding movies couldn't be easier.

The program could be a bit simpler, but only at the cost of the versitility of MC.

As for it not being a companion because it doen not work like XBMC, that is ridiculous, MC is supposed to make managing movie and tv collections easier than using XBMC alone. In that way it is most definately a companion.

You may also want to take note that the program is no longer called "XBMC Media Companion", the "XBMC" was dropped quite a while ago. Many of the emails I get from people use MC purely as a standalone app.
