Just thought I'd let you all know whats happening at the moment.

My primary project at the moment is the way the program handles TV Shows.
The new system will be as follows :-

Users can add Any ammount of TV Show folders at a time, they can choose to select a single TV Show folder or a Root Folder containing multiple TV Show Folders.
For adding a Root the folder layout will have to be as follows :-
Root/TV Show 1/
Root/TV Show 2/
Root/TV Show 3/ etc.

After all the shows are added, if no tvshow.nfo is available or if the tvshow.nfo does not contain a TVDBID then they will be able to quickly browse through the tv shows and scrape the basic nfo information. This is very quick and takes up little time. The user can skip any or all of the added tv shows.
After completion of the above stage the user will have the option to scrape additional information automatically. This will include Banners/Posters for the TV Show. Seasons, and any available fanarts. They can also at this point select to scrape actor information from either IMDB or TVDB.
This information will take much longer to scrape but does not need user intervention.
For TV Shows that have been skipped but have an nfo file, such as one created with the nfo extract program I wrote, the user will still be able to view the TV Show and Episodes, but they will not be able to scrape any additional information without the TVDBID.
For TV Shows without an nfo file they will remain in the config, but will be not be visible in the TV Show interface.

TV Show regex will be moved to the config file

A html output has been created to allow the creation of a basic html list of movies linked to IMDB

For timescale, I would be looking for the new version to be ready in about a weeks time, maybe a little less.

This sounds great.

Will there be an option to go ahead and scrape everything possible on the first pass without user intervention? This definitely isn't necessary but for lazy people like me, it'd be useful.

This isn't a good idea, TVDB search results are less accurate than IMDB and a lot more information is downloaded. In addition to this the search on TVDB is not as good as IMDB, try a search for "StarTrek" you will get 0 results.

If the TVDB search returns only 1 item then no user intervention is required
If the TVDB search returns multiple results then user needs to select the correct show
If the TVDB search returns 0 results then the user will have the option to skip, or type a different name to search and search again.

As far as you are concerned all that will be required is the add all your TV Show Folders, or Root. The program will scan through them and ask you to select the correct TV Show. This should be very fast with a delay of perhaps a few seconds between each show.
