New Versions Keep Crashing

Hi guys,

I've been using 2.135 for a long time and never had any issues with it.

I noticed it wasn't scraping TV shows anymore (I've read the 'What's Happening' post) so I thought I'd install a new version to see.

I have downloaded and tested a few newer ones including 2.292 and they won't load.

The splash screen comes up followed by an error message saying "XBMC Media Companion has stopped working"

I am running Vista and have .Net 3.5 and all updates.

2.135 still runs fine, but nothing newer will.

Any help would be appreciated as I'd really like to see the newer versions of my favourite app.

I heard someone mention about creating a "Media Companion" folder somewhere but can't see where in Vista to create it.
I tried making one in all 3 folders under here C:\Users\Media Server\AppData but it made no difference.

This issue is related to the security settings of your PC

MC must be in a folder where it has write permissions, when you first run it MC will create a folder and several files within the MC folder, if this fails then it can't run
