TV Shows Command Line

I realize that there is a basic command line function for movies, but would that be able to be added to tv shows as well?

Obviously there couldn't be an automatic scan to select a new show, since you have said many times you didn't want that, but would it be possible to have an automatic scan of existing shows to search for new episodes?
