Download Season Thumbs (FIXED)

i just upgraded to 1.911 (from 1.827) and im trying to now get season thumbs\posters for my TV Shoes.

I tick the checkbox in the prefs page "Download Season Thumbs", and then click SAVE and exit.

Then when I go back into prefs its unchecked ??

All my movies & tv shows are still in there from the previous version, i just wanted to scrape season thumbs (Posters).

confirmed as bug in 1.911

seems like it writes value without tags to config.XML

ie;

before trying to set it

[start line 41]
<startupmode>1</startupmode>
<tvdbmode>default</tvdbmode>
[...etc]

after
[start line 41]
<startupmode>1</startupmode>
English|en
<tvdbmode>default</tvdbmode>
[...etc]

that makes absolutely no sense to me lol

That option is for when you add TV Shows for the first time with no tvshow.nfo file.

To dl season thumbs for shows added in a previous version either delete the tvshow.nfo and goto preferences/save and exit you will be given the option to save the season thumbs then.

or

In the TV Show edit window, select the season in the drop down combobox, then press button to "Scrape All Thumb URL's"
this will allow you to browse any available thumbs for that season.
When you have a thumb you are happy with then use button "Set as Main Thumb", this will save the chosen thumb as seasonxx.tbn (where xx is season no)

Repeat for all seasons.

Yeah, I thought as much as it didnt reference the season information directly. was just pointing out that nothing was being saved in Config, I noticed when you saved the config it referenced all the tvshow.nfos (was watching with process monitor) but didnt even think to check them!

ok all season thumbs are downloaded locally, how do I go about getting XBMC to now pick them up? i did a "library update" and still dosnt show the season thumbs.

Anyone have an idea?

Using the refresh option for a TV Show is supposed to update the thumbs.

tried the refresh option and was a no go.....ended up deleting the videos.db & all cahced thumbs, and rescanned library from scratch and it worked.
