Scraping for tv show doesn't show up

Added folder for The Vampire Diaries with a few of the episodes

the vampire diaries > season 1 (2009) > the vampire diaries_S01E01.avi

it says it finds the new episodes yet it never shows in the main browser.

I see Vampire Diaries, but never see any of the episodes it scrapes. Am I naming them incorrectly for this series?

I was able to get one episode to show up by creating the nfo file for the episode manually. Why aren't the episode nfo's being create automatically?

during the scrape for new episodes I see this in the log:

Worked fine for me:

Created The Vampire Diaries\Season 1 (2009)
Created 2 dummy files - the vampire diaries_S01E01.avi and the vampire diaries_S01E02.avi
Opened MC
Selected "The Vampire Diaries" in TV Show List and clicked "TV Show Selector" button
Selected the "The Vampire Diaries"
Selected "The Vampire Diaries" in TV Show List and changed Status from Locked to Open
Clicked "Search for new Episodes"
Scraped perfectly with .nfo's and .tbn's being created.

2. Does MC actually have write access to S:\Videos\TV Shows\... ?

followed your suggestions. same results.

MC does have write access to the folder, if I add a nfo file it will download a a thumbnail for the episode. The tvshow.nfo is created fine.

I am running MC on a ubuntu machine via virtualbox on XP.

Change the sort order to DVD, this is usually the problem for MC not locating episodes on TVDB.

Change the "sort order" to "default"

It is the toggle button located under the actor photo when viewing the tvshow.nfo

changing sort order has no affect

downloaded version 3.1.9.8, results are now this:

i changed the sort order to default after getting the latest. It then scraped. Thanks for all the help.
