Hi,
Over the last few versions, I've noticed that whenever I scrape a movie name say "Transformers.Revenge.of.the.fallen.(2008).DTS", the title in Media Companion shows as everything before the opening bracket for the year i.e. Transformers.Revenge.of.the.fallen - it includes the periods!
Is there a way to turn this off? Is it a bug?

Not sure what you mean,
If you are listing movies with the "filename" radio button selected then the list will contain the filenames. or If you are listing movies with the "Title" radio button selected then the list will contain the title as used by IMDB.

Just realised that you may have the movie preference "Keep cleaned File/Folder name as Movie Title" enabled.
Disable this option to use the title retrieved from IMDB
