library views

is there a way i can sort movies by file name in library view?

as i name my movies so series are together,

batman begins and the dark night are

Batman Nolan 01 - Batman Begins and Batman Nolan 02 - The Dark Knight

but in library views they are seperated

i don't know how to arrange the library by file name...but what you can do is change the 'sort order' title to something like Batman 1 - Nolan & Batman 2 - Nolan.

Then you can arrange the library by sort order and they movies will show up together. This also gives you the added bonus (if you use xbmc that is) that whenyou update the library in xbmc, the movies will be sorted according to the sort order, and not the title.

The other option is to use sets...

You create a set in MC say called Batman (or as I do "Collection Batman" to distinquish in the XBMC library lists between movies & sets...)

Then you can attach a set to each of your Batman Movies..

In XBMC they will be listed together under the name "Batman"

This also helps shorten the XBMC list if you have a lot of movies....
