| Changes for new version 3.154 - Bugfix - <sortorder> tag changed to <sorttitle> xbmc does not recognise sortorder
- Bugfix - Wrong medianfo.dll was included in distribution resulting in incorrect tags
- Bugfix - Unhandled exception when using the "Change Movie" option
- Bugfix - When searching for new movies Google was used to find the IMDB ID, this is very accurate, but it seems that google blocks a user after a certain number of searches (In my case it was about 350), this also resulted in no nfo being returned for a movie. This new build limits the ammount of google searches to 50, any more than that will use IMDB's own search engine.
- Bugfix - Renaming a movie would list movie as starting "The title" instead of "title, The"
- Bugfix - Filters are disabled when searching for movies missing fanart or posters, the filters were not re-enabled
- Bugfix - Batch wizard had several issues that have been fixed.
- Change - min resolution without scrollbars changed to 998x580
- Change - Scrollbars limited to info tab so that navigation remains
- Change - blank media nfo tags are no longer added to the nfo file
- Change - Button added to copy title to sorttitle tag
- Added - Episode screenshots can now be rescraped or created using ffmpeg, the tab appears when browsing episodes
- Added - facility to rebuild all nfo files, this is useful in such instances where there there is a problem with the tags, for example, the <sortorder> tag, or blank media nfo tags. Using this option will load each nfo and save it to current parameters. The option is located in the drop down movie menu\Rebuild Movie nfo files.
Updated build on 12th November 09 to include the fixed imdb library, imdb.dll can be downloaded seperately from hereDownload Version 3.154 FFmpeg is included in the archive, be sure to also replace the other files, a couple of the other libraries have also been updated. Just overwrite the previous version, ( the config will remain compatible only if you are upgrading from version 3.xxx).[b]

| Did the sort by date added go bad for anyone else in this version? Also, at the bottom of my screen I see something that says Label 79 to the left of the play trailer button.

| Nevermind on the sort order. I forgot I did a batch update on all the NFO's. I do still see that Label 79 though. J_K_M_A_N | |

LOL, If you resize the form label79 shows the form resolution, it was just for personal reference and I forgot to remove it

| Ok a couple of things.... i. I think that the automatic & manual creation of the sort order tag should account for leading word's like "The". ii. The Sort order buttons status is not returned on running MC again. iii. The word Runtime: covers part of the Cert text box iv. Unlike the TV shows, you can't right click & choose "Open File" to manually inspect the nfo - Generally the Movies & TvShow menus need to be more standardised between each other I think. v. When sorting by Rating, perhaps the rating can be added on infront of the title to make it easier to see what movies have what ratings... vi. Do you think that the preferences window rather than being a seperate window could be incorporated like the movie & TV Shows tabs? vii. Would it be possible to have a sort order by running time? Again in front of the Title - spaced to allow 999 minutes (seconds are probably not required to be displayed) With regards to not having enough realestate for more buttons I find that I have sufficent for another row, if I want to display the full title & year of movies like... Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994) Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007) Also I noticed that when clicking on the Title, it changes to be without the year - is that intentional? PS it allowed me to copy the title above easily though which is good. PS - I worked it out....it allows me to rename the movie title! LOL I think that will do for now, , cheers. | |

I think that will do for now, , cheers. (i) Since XBMC and MC both do this automatically, this is not neccesary (ii) I will add an option to restore the option when the program is started (iii)Adjusted for the next build (iv)This will be updated for the next build (v)Maybe, it would be more consistant to maybe have the rating in brackets after the movie, instead of the year. (vi)This will happen once i'm clear in my mind about exactly how this will work , the current preferences are messy, just trying to get up the motivation to change it, this is for me the worst kind of programming, pretty boring. I am thinking a general preferences on the primary tab, next to Movies and TV Shows, the Movie tab panel could have another preferences that affect movies and the TV Shows tab also having its own preferences tab. Maybe movies and tv shows could have a seperate tab for folders. (vii)I will look into it, maybe with the runtime in brackets instead of the year. As for the size of the left hand panel, I also have it wider than default, but I also have to consider people with lower resolution monitors. While it is not much of an issue if the title of some movies is a little off screen, the controls must remain visible.

(i) Since XBMC and MC both do this automatically, this is not neccesary Yes the titles are sorted correctly by the sort order tag, but I think that the auto creation button (the down arrow) should move the "The" to the end by default so that the "The" movies don't all end up in the "T"s... XBMC & MC in this mode should sort by the tag as it is & not apply any rules to it since afterall the ' sort order' should be the sort order - end of story, my only issue is in creating the sort order tag, I think the "The"'s & the "A"'s should move to the end of the sort order tag by default. Otherwise, people will have to manually rename all those tags to achieve that goal... Thanks PS with regards to adding data to the front or end of the title, thge front would be Ok but the resulting information would not be columnised (I think thats the word). In front & spaced correctly, all the durations for example would list under each other & it would be much easier to locate the threshold movie.... When you think about it, once you sort a list, the information you are sorting by is the most important to display, in the above case the movie title becomes secondary....

| ... latest version is V3.156....unfortunately if someone posts in an older version it gets put to the top of the list possibly causing people to download that version thinking it is the latest one..... | |

Nope 3.154 is the latest, although I did notice the problem you mention, to stop the issue of older builds being placed at the top I removed announcement status from all but the current build

| All - just a reminder on posting in the proper forums. It makes it easier if we keep the bug discussion in the right forum with the right heading for the version and issue you are experiencing (read Sticky).
Billy - perhaps you should lock the Annoucements for yourself?
