Progress Update - 18th November 2009

Just a brief post to let you know whats happening with MC and when and what you can expect from the next build.

Whats been done.

For movies there are several enhancements and new features.

• The TMdb API handler for has been upgraded to use TMdb API 2.1
  
• Customizable genre filter list.
  
• Support for HTML Templates
  
• Movie list now displays Runtime/Rating/Year as prefix when sorting by those catagories.
  
• Tooltip on movielist now shows basic movie movie details on mouseover
  
• Movie list context menu has been updated to be similar to TV Show context menu
  
• New wall of movies view that allows people to view their collections graphically, (May not keep this, will await feedback, but it is a great way to easily see and change bad posters)
  
• The actor search for movies has also been readded.
  

For tv shows there are has only been a single change to date, that is the addition of a locked button on the tv show page. This gives users the ability to lock completed shows so that when searching for new episodes they are ignored.

Still to do.
There are a few bugs arising from the last build that I still need to address.
Add a context menu item to TV Shows to search for new episodes for a specific Show.
Fix the imdb library, it still has one or two issues, the main one being the scraping of xml chrs
and one or two other things.

My current plan is to upload a new build with all the above incorporated by the end of the week.
