Does not work in the drop down menu = nothing happens.

I suggest that you remove it from the list of tabs and keep it (after making it work) in the drop dwn menu.

I've added functionality to this menuitem,

I've not removed this from the tablist though, it's not really in the way, and is more easily accessable from the tab. The same tab is also used to cancel the thread if so desired.
