[G2 - 3.019] - Scraping "Subs" subfolders as movies?

Perhaps I've missed a setting in the new beta version, but it's now scraping my Subs folders as if they are movies.

The old version didn't do this.

Bug, intended change, or can someone point me to what I've set wrong?

NOTE: The subs folders contain .idx, .sub, .sfv, and .rar files. If you're just assuming .rar files mean a movie you might want to try a library to check the contents of them for relevant extensions.

That's the only bug I've seen so far though, so great work!

I believe this relates to a bug in the preferences for scraping rar files - I can't seem to get v3.019 to remember my settings it always returns to -1.
Alot of subs are compressed as rar files, result is media companion adding another 400 movies I don't have...

As a work around you can manually change the setting in Media Companion\Settings\Config.xml <rarsize>-1</rarsize>.

When MC loads it will read this figure & persumably use it...I can't test that part as I don't use rars....

Indeed, I had the same thought and manually editted the config xml to make the rar size 100mb. Now I see this as the value in MC and it also cannot be changed. After clearing out the useless sub nfo files (rm -f */Subs/*.nfo ) and re-running MC no longer thinks these rars require an nfo file. Good temp fix!
