I'm using Media Companion for tv scraping. I hate complaining and have held off on bringing this up but I can't take it anymore. TV shows are the last thing to work on XBMC for me. The scraper doesn't work for me, and Media Companion wasn't working correctly till recently. My process is to use EpNamer to rename my files to a naming convention Media Companion likes. Then I scrape the files in Media Companion. I've been doing a few tv shows at a time, it works great in Media Companion now. The only problem in Media Companion is that images from tvdb don't show up but that's okay I go grab them from google images and I'm good to go.
This is where things get interesting. I go to XBMC and scan the folders (the set content is setup for tv shows) and some work and others don't. And the ones that work I get some weird problems. I set a image for a season and it won't show up in XBMC. On top of that some shows that deal with one subject show up as one show with no episodes. The Flash and A-Team show up as Action and Adventure combined. Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares (Yes I'm an american smeghead who loves British tv) scans as a show called "Soul Food" with no episodes.
I will say I think this is some problem with XBMC and not Media Companion. Does anyone have any ideas?
