May I ask why XBMC Companion tries to make a connection request upon startup to 'homepage.ntlworld.com'?

It checks for the latest release version and informs the user if a more recent version is available from the MC homepage.
Due to the ammount of changes this hasn't been updated since 1.911 but once the current version is stable and the bugs ironed out I will be using this as a point release. Users of MC will then be informed that a new version is available and asked if they want to go to the website.
