************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I also get this error when trying to exit MC, and i can't close it done and have to force close with Task manager.

Code:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Paybac, UAC stops MC from writing to the Program Files Folder on Vista & Win7.

One work around is to put MC in a folder like c:\Media Companion\

Cheers

Cheers Stormy that fixed it. The problem with the text being all messed up was becase of the default setting in Win7 is to set text to Medium/125% so that messed everthing up. dropped it back to 100% and now everthing is looking good.

I must say MC is so much sexier in Win7 then XP Laughing Laughing

Win 7 64bit error Empty
PostSubject: Re: Win 7 64bit error   Win 7 64bit error Icon_minitimeWed Jun 23, 2010 8:49 am

I am running Windows 7 (64 Bit) on Parallels 4 on my Mac OS 10.6.4.
My TV Shows and Movies are stored on a FreeNas Box and mapped SMB into Windows 7.

For the last 15 builds or so, everytime I attempted to add my TV Shows root folder, MC would crash. Haven't had much time to report it or look into it. I was running the application from the unzipped folder which resided on the desktop.

Moving the entire folder to the C drive as you noted above resolved my problem!

Thanks!
MM
