| Paybac, UAC stops MC from writing to the Program Files Folder on Vista & Win7.
One work around is to put MC in a folder like c:\Media Companion\

| Cheers Stormy that fixed it. The problem with the text being all messed up was becase of the default setting in Win7 is to set text to Medium/125% so that messed everthing up. dropped it back to 100% and now everthing is looking good. I must say MC is so much sexier in Win7 then XP | |

| I am running Windows 7 (64 Bit) on Parallels 4 on my Mac OS 10.6.4. My TV Shows and Movies are stored on a FreeNas Box and mapped SMB into Windows 7.
For the last 15 builds or so, everytime I attempted to add my TV Shows root folder, MC would crash. Haven't had much time to report it or look into it. I was running the application from the unzipped folder which resided on the desktop.
Moving the entire folder to the C drive as you noted above resolved my problem!
Thanks! MM | |
