Multi-episode file naming convention Empty
PostSubject: Multi-episode file naming convention   Multi-episode file naming convention Icon_minitimeMon Sep 22, 2008 7:13 pm

Could I have clarity on the naming convention for multi-episode files?

For example, I have tried using:
Lost S02E23&E24 - Live Together Die Alone.avi
Lost S02E23E24 - Live Together Die Alone.avi
Lost S02E23-E24 - Live Together Die Alone.avi
where Episodes 23 and 24 fall within the same avi, without success.

Each time the scraper returns only episode 23 dialogue in the nfo.
What should I be expecting?
A separate nfo for episode 24?
Or would the scraper include the dialogue for episode 24 within the same nfo?

TheTVDb.com definitely has separate plot dialogue for both episodes 23 and 24.

(Thanks again for an excellent tool! ) cheers

I personally use a avi splitter and break them up into two files. I don't know of any eps that are actually supposed to be combined. Just makes it easier to follow current convesions if they are two seperate files (one per ep). Just my two cents.

Quote :
Currently a TV episode nfo can only contain the details of one episode which means the maker of 'XBMC Media Companion' cannot support multi-episodes properly as reported in these posts -

Hopefully thumbs could also be supported for each episode as well in the one nfo.

The above info comes from XBMC developers & the link is here..

Cheers
