[Media Companion 2.292] TV Show bug and question Empty
PostSubject: [Media Companion 2.292] TV Show bug and question   [Media Companion 2.292] TV Show bug and question Icon_minitimeWed Aug 19, 2009 9:08 pm

Hi, i'm still playing with tv shows, and since this isn't working in your new version yet, I'm still using oldie, but goodie.

Anywho.

First error to encount, is if you have a TV show with fanart in it, and you choose to browse for new ones, and press save - it gives this error.
- It does not give the error if you delete your fanart, and browse and save it.
[The error is posted in the end]

1). Another thing is, why is there no more the possiblity to completely scrape every image from TVDB to your folder? So you have them all locally.

2). Is it possible to have both a normal poster plus a wide poster saved for maybe xbmc to read? I'm still uncertain if the wide beats the poster thingie Smile

Thanks for a nice tool.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

To be honest I'm not looking at pre 3.xxx versions anymore, the simple fact is that Media Companion became much more complicated than I actually intended, tracking down bugs was quickly becoming an impossible task. Gen 2 is being rewritten using much improved techniques and is much easier to keep control of, as well as fix bugs.

Over the next month or so TV Show capability will be added to Media Companion Gen 2 and I would ask that everyone switch to this.

And BTW, Welcome to the forum
