Hello,

I would like to include 1 or 2 custom genres to use in my movie and tv library within XBMC. I have followed what instructions I could find and created a "genre_filterlist.txt" file and put it inside "Media Companion/Settings". Inside of this file I have included:

<85>
Action
Adventure
Animation
Biography
Children
Comedy
Crime
Documentary
Drama
Family
Fantasy
Film-Noir
History
Holiday
Horror
Music
Musical
Mystery
Romance
Sci-Fi
Short
Sport
Thriller
War
Western

When I open Media Companion, I do not see any changes to the genre list on the movie side of the program. Am I doing something wrong or looking for something that shouldn't be there? Could someone point me to the error of my ways?

Thanks,
Mark

Change the name of the file to filters.txt and it will work.

I think it just changed name from the begining.
