Is there a "How To" on using this program?

Hi All,

I'm glad to have found this site. Been out of the xbmc game for 2 years. Alot has changed. Almost Intimidating. This seem like a great program if I could only undersand what it wants from me to get out of it what I want it to do. Any direction you can point us old newb's to would be great. Been having errors with it when starting up. (Unhandled blah blah error.) Still reading on how to correct it. I remember the day of manually putting in the look up's on imbd with the remote so if it come to that then so be it but this looks easy.

what version are you using? make sure you're using the latest (2.008).

second, as to a howto, i don't think there really is one. but you can go back to when billy first announced the program on the xbmc forums. it gives some details on what to do and what it does. keep in mind that it's about 6 months old, so there are going to be some differences, but it's the same concept. here's the link: http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=33961

As flipped cracker said there isn't a userguide for this program although maybe there should be.

I will get around to making one eventually, in the meantime if anybody wants to create a HTML manual I could upload to the website then feel free

Yes a wiki would be ideal, that way Billy doesn't have to work on that too....more time for the program!

do you want your own wiki section on your site? or just one on wikipedia.com?
